Barkrun in Taunton
Are you and your dog looking for a fun, new adventure? Look no further than Barkrun at Longrun Meadow! Taking place every other Saturday, Barkrun offers a fantastic way to introduce both you and your furry friend to the exhilarating world of Canicross.
For those unfamiliar, Canicross is not just running with your dog. Canicross is the fast-growing sport of off-road hands-free running with your dog. Not only is it the most fun way for you and your dog to get fit, but the two of you will build a special bond together.
Ready to Run? Join us at 8 AM every other Saturday!
We kick-start our Barkrun every other Saturday at 8 AM sharp. Following a short safety briefing, you and your dog will have the chance to run a Canicross 5k together. Don’t worry if you’re new to this – our event is designed to be welcoming and inclusive to newcomers.
After your run, why not stick around for a while? We encourage our participants to volunteer or take part in the park run at 9 AM. It’s a great way to further engage with the local Canicross community and continue your morning of exercise and fun! Dog’s cannot be run on waist belts at Parkrun.
For Barkrun dogs must be run on canicross equipment, not sure if you’ve got the right kit?
